What does Spanish law say about work at height? That if the work cannot be done safely from the ground or a suitable surface, the employer chooses the safest equipment, giving priority to collective protection (guardrails, platforms, nets) over personal protection (harness), and that this choice cannot depend on cost (Royal Decree 2177/2004). Guardrails are at least 90 cm high and on construction sites protect falls of more than 2 metres. This course explains it in 7 modules, with a 25-question test and a PDF certificate. It is theory only: practical training with harnesses, scaffolds or ropes is in person and given by your employer.
Note: this is theory only and not an approved course. It does not qualify you to erect scaffolds or work on ropes: that training is specific and in person, and hands-on harness training must come from your employer.
